Welcome to Hell!

I'm not a winter person...like, not at all. I love, love, love being back in my homeland, but I understand that the price I have to pay for being home and experiencing Homeland Security is winterwear. I experience Homeland Security just hearing those nasally Southern Illinois Accents, but today I understand the concept of January again.

It's freakin' COLD out there!

I saw snowplows parked along the side of the highway on my way home from work. They're like vultures, circling...

Only 2 and 1/2 months until Spring!

"HELL" is right, except it's NOT COLD! We saw a turtle while kayaking last Friday - the little fucker should by HYBERTATING! I'm scared - watching the turtle and then film footage of that huge ice chunk falling into the sea scares the bejeebers out of me. I think I'll move to northern Canada. :-) Robin

Oh, now, Robin ... you just stop being an alarmist! Remember, there's no such thing as global warming ... there's no such thing as global warming ... (click your heels together three times) ... there's no such thing as global warming ...

But Auntie Em, it's so green - I don't think we're in Kansas anymore! :-)
